 About Me:

I have been teaching for the past 15 years, and have taught at Haworth Elementary for 14 1/2 of those years.  I am currently teaching 5th & 6th Grade Language Arts, 5th Grade Science, and 5th Grade Girls Spelling.  Prior to teaching 5th & 6th grades, I taught 1st Grade.  I have both my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education.  I am Oklahoma State Certified K-8 in Elementary Education, and K-12 as a Reading Specialist. 

I am married to Michael Birdsong, who is a teacher at Idabel Middle School--he has been teaching for 19 years.  We have 2 sons, A.J. and Jack.  I am originally from Idabel, Oklahoma, and currently live in the Redland Community.  The majority of my time is spent having fun with my family and friends!
