  •  Rachael Smith is a 2006 graduate of Haileyville High School. After high school, she attended Eastern Oklahoma State College to complete an Associate's Degree. The next fall, Smith transferred to Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2010 with an Agricultural Education Degree. Rachael decided to further her education in 2016 and earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University. 

  • Rachael Smith is a graduate of Haileyville High School. She attended Eastern Oklahoma State College, Rachael later attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of Collegiate FFA, and in 2010 she graduated with a degree in Agricultural Education. She began her career as an agricultural education instructor at Wilburton High School for one year.

    After moving to McCurtain County, she took a position at Valliant Public Schools and was one of three agricultural education instructors alongside her husband, Brent Smith. As an agricultural education teacher/FFA Advisor, she trained many teams and public speakers that competed across the state. Her students earned numerous awards at local, state, and national levels and fostered their passions for the agricultural industry. While working she continued her education and received a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2016. In 2019, Smith shifted into a school administration position as High School Principal at Valliant Public Schools.

    After nine years at Valliant, she took a position at Haworth Public Schools in 2022, where she is currently serving as the secondary principal. When not working, Rachael is helping with the family cow/calf operation, traveling, and spending time with family.
