2006-2009 Haworth High School Science Teacher and Assistant Secondary Principal
Returned to Haworth as Assistant Secondary Principal, July, 2024
I began teaching in July of 1992 in Princeton, TX. In January of 1995, I returned to Oklahoma and taught science at Idabel Middle School until 2006 when I began teaching at Haworth. In July of 2009, I accepted a position as Valliant High School Principal where I stayed for six years before returning to Idabel High School to teach Chemistry. I have 32 years of experience in education, as either a teacher or administrator, with all but 2 ½ years of that right here in McCurtain County.
I have been married to my wife, Racheal Williamson, for 23 years. We have raised five children (his, her’s,and our’s) and are the proud grandparents of four girls and two boys. In addition to raising kids, we also raise Beefmaster cattle, along with a few chickens and quail.
When I am not at school, I spend most of my time working on the family farm with my youngest son and my dad. In the fall of each year, we spend as much time as possible deer hunting. In the spring, we enjoy catching crappie as often as we can. Summers are all about putting hay in the barns, and winters are all about taking that hay back out of the barns and feeding it to the cows.
